To complete the post of my favorite evening gowns is last but certainly not least, a romantic 1970s A-line shape flowing tier gown by Saks Fifth Ave. The halter-style bodice is sleeveless and has soft pleating at neckline and natural waistline.
An attached sheer capelet and cascading tiers ruffle layers overlaid satin lining. The gown is silk chiffon, full-length with long hidden metal back zipper, a size 8 and is in perfect vintage condition. I like that the capelet gives it, a classic vintage feel, but when tucked in at the neck or pulled to the back as seen in these photos, the gown looks more up-to-date and versatile.
I believe
the sort of woman who walks into a room wearing this exquisite vintage-tiered gown and owns it, to be very self-confident! Because everyone knows of her charisma and
impeccable style, and whatever she wears; she always radiates elegance and intrigues
others with her presence. She effortlessly chooses sophisticated
clothes at love at first sight because she desires them; they make her look
and feel beautiful and not like everyone else.
