Miss Elliette

Miss Elliette was a label owned and designed by Elliette Ellis. After studying at the Traphagen School of Fashion and working for a dress manufacturer, Ellis started her own line in 1952. She made mid-priced dinner and cocktail dresses that were very feminine, even in the 1960s and 1970s when fashion had moved in a different direction. Despite this, the line was very successful. The Miss Elliette label lasted into the 1990s. Written by Lizzie Bramlett @fuzzylizzie.com and found on http://vintagefashionguild.org/label-resource/miss-elliette/

Above is a brief history of designer Elliette Ellis, who created the vintage dress below. I am in total amazement with this stunning dress because I have never seen one like it. It is a timeless classic that looks modern and the perfect upstaging dress.  And nothing says less is more than wearing a chic vintage dress with originality and elegance.
